Outdoor parties—Balloons pop very easily outside. If you want balloon-tying at the party, the balloons will have to be placed inside or in a garbage bag until the children are ready to leave, or games can be substituted.

All of the Dream Friends will do activities that are suitable and include boys and girls. If you are having an all girl or all boy party, your entertainer will focus on activities most enjoyed by girls or boys.

All of the Dream Friends will do face painting, tattoos, and balloons suitable for both boys and girls. For example: princesses will dance the hokey pokey, paint the boys like a tiger or a spider and tie balloon swords for boys. Super heroes will teach the girls how to be super heroes too, play games, put on butterfly or flower tattoos, and tie balloon animals.

Sequence of Events at Birthday Parties

For Girls
At a typical party, your Dream Friend will arrive in character all the way from their castle, clown town, etc. and make a special fuss over the birthday child and their guests.

If you've booked a fairytale character they tell a story or sing a song (options vary for additional characters). Most female character do face-painting or make-up and nails if it's an all girl party (this is a good time for a craft, lunch or they have coloring pages and crayons). Next your Dream Friends will pose for pictures and then dance the hokey pokey. Finally based on the time remaining they with do either tattoos, a game, a parade, fingernails or balloon animals (indoor parties only). Finally, your Dream Friend will pose for pictures and if it's a birthday, sing with the cake.

For Boys

At a typical party, your Dream Friend will arrive in character all the way from their pirate ship, bat cave, etc. and make a special fuss over the birthday child and their guests. If you've booked a super hero, he will do an impressive strength demonstration and our pirate does a great sword show.

In any order, your Dream Friend will tie balloons or apply tattoos. Some of our characters can also tell a story or sing when requested. He will lead the kids in games such as potato sack races and tug of war or simon says, depending on the space available. Finally, your Dream Friend will pose for pictures and if it's a birthday, sing with the cake.

Or we can incorporate your own entertainment ideas into the party (for example: if you are having a costume party your Dream friend can lead the children in a parade or if you have a pirate, he can lead them in a treasure hunt).

If you are planning on having a craft, don't worry if the children don't finish before the Dream Friend arrives. They will have time to finish during face-painting or tattoos. They can just take their coloring page home with them.
